Weirdly, as we grow up, we strongly develop an artificial sense of entitlement. We assume that we have the right to be happy and that somehow we deserve the good and comfortable circumstances of life. In fact, we all assume that we'll be able to live a long, healthy, and full life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, when circumstances turn against us, we whinge, whine, moan and dramatically throw all our toys out of the pram at all our perceived losses - choosing to forget that the Word of GOD promises us that He\u2019ll deliver us \u201cin<\/strong>\u201d the circumstances, not \u201cfrom<\/strong>\u201d them!<\/p>\n\n\n\nSo \u2026 as the Psalmist continually says (and the lovely Jean underscored for us yesterday), \u201cGod, you\u2019re my refuge. I trust in you, and I\u2019m safe!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
