(Isaiah 30:20) “...your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will [constantly] see your Teacher. 21 Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.”

When you want to do something, but it contradicts GOD's definitive will for your life, you may well get what some people call a 'check in the spirit.'

Checks in our spirit are one of GOD's ways of protecting us. The main purpose is to cause us to slow down, be more cautious, and proactively seek His will in a given situation or interaction.

NB - None of us has any reason in the natural to feel this way, but thanks be to GOD we feel this way nonetheless.

Please pray with me ... "Lord, I know I can act impulsively. I have hurt You and have suffered much myself through my own childish independence. Please help me acknowledge your checks in my spirit - make them loud, Lord, so that I will stop and be cautious about whatever you have highlighted. And Lord, please may my heart not be hardened to receive Your Word of caution." Amen! 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—Baby Owen, Baby Pasley, a 3-year old boy in hospital awaiting heart surgery, Paul, Adam, Rob, Arianna, Miriam, Barbara, Angela, Vanessa, Tina, Cathy, Louise, Betty, Maria, Lorenzo, Matteo, Romeo, Sebastian, Nathaniel, Marissa, Ron, Amy, Franca, Daniela, Kristina, Richard, Roger, Ben, Jessica, Wayne, Alastair, Ian, Alex, Alexander, Lynette, James, Keiron, Samantha, Jay, Liliana, Maria, Susanna, and those you bring to our minds right now… Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care.
