The Lord looked and was displeased to find there was no justice. He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So he himself stepped in to save them with his strong arm, and his justice sustained him. (Isa 59:15)
My heart has been very heavy lately for all those I hear about who seem to be constantly struggling with the oppression of depressive thoughts.
My knowledge might be limited to the origin being either mental, physical or spiritual, but I know that our Heavenly Father knows each and every one of those struggling – I know that He knows them intimately – and He cares enough about them to act!
So I’m asking all who read this for a big favour. Can you please quietly call out the names of those you know who are suffering under this tyrant – and if it is you, just say, ‘me, Lord.’ Then just see them in your mind, gather around and kneel in His Presence.
Now can the rest of us please join together and form a prayer ring around those who are kneeling in His Presence. Pray for them as the Lord leads; pray for Peace on them TODAY for their well-being, as this depression ends here – today!
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons to bless the people … with this special blessing: ‘May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favour and give you his peace.’ Whenever Aaron and his sons bless the people of Israel in my name, I myself will bless them.” (Num 6:22)
