(John 6:40) [Jesus speaking] “This is what my Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who he is and what he does and then aligns with him will enter real life, eternal life. My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time.”

Here we have, and in a nutshell, both our part and Jesus’s in the continuing drama of Salvation,

We see the Son – as He ‘freely’ moves for us against the ensuing fear, doubt, and unbelief, which constantly probes our defences as evil continually tries to knock us off our feet and into submission.

Even though we don't understand, we love Him and trust what He says and does. He comforts and acts for us against the ensuing fear, doubt, and unbelief, which constantly probes our defences as evil continually tries to knock us off our feet and into submission.

During all that time, Jesus picks us up and puts us back on our feet - time and time again, and we find ourselves drawn away from the ensuing fear, doubt, and unbelief, which constantly probed our defences. And we watch in loving awe as the evil, which continually tried to knock us off our feet and into submission, fizzles away from His Presence and we find ourselves aligned and standing with Him as we ‘chose’ Him and His Ways – and kneel and bow in Holy Peace 'because' we allowed Him to move in and around us freely!

GOD, who created all our hearts, says, “Come to Me, my dear Child, and I will show you how to break free and live! Do your part and trust in Me enough to honour Me.” 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—Maria, Lorenzo, Matteo, Romeo, Sebastian, Nathaniel, Amy, Franca, Daniela, Kristina, Paul, Roger, Alastair, Ian, Alex, Alexander, Lynette, James, Keiron, Samantha, Jay, Liliana, Maria, Susanna, and those you bring to our minds right now… Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
