(Matthew 4:19) (Jesus speaking) “Follow Me [as My disciples, accepting Me as your Master and Teacher and walking the same path of life that I walk], and I will make you fishers of men.”

In other words, you think what you're doing now is good, but if you follow me, I can show you greatness - and how to change lives.

This means we must quit trying to weave Jesus into 'our natural day' and instead consciously decide to 'follow' the Shepherd of our Souls into His 'super-natural' day. That way, we will inevitably see the changes our hearts are crying out to Him for!

Please pray with me ... "Lord, I don't know which way to turn, nor do I know what to do, and I am coming to You confessing my need of You in my life, and pray that You will forgive me of my pride in trying to be the god of my own existence. Peace-giver, please give me a tangible sense of your presence in the midst of this chaos. And as I come to the end of myself and discover that place where I have no more will to continue on, carry me and comfort me with your love. Amen." 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—Baby Owen, Baby Pasley, a 3-year old boy in hospital awaiting heart surgery, Paul, Adam, Arianna, Miriam, Barbara, Angela, Vanessa, Tina, Cathy, Louise, Betty, Maria, Lorenzo, Matteo, Romeo, Sebastian, Nathaniel, Marissa, Ron, Amy, Franca, Daniela, Kristina, Richard, Roger, Ben, Jessica, Wayne, Alastair, Ian, Alex, Alexander, Lynette, James, Keiron, Samantha, Jay, Liliana, Maria, Susanna, and those you bring to our minds right now… Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
