(1 Corinthians 2:4) (Apostle Paul speaking) “And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom [using clever rhetoric], but [they were delivered] in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit [operating through me] and of [His] power [stirring the minds of the listeners and persuading them], so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom and rhetoric of men, but on the power of God."

So many people responded to yesterday's message with things like, "Oh, how I long to be in that type of fellowship again." That it got me thinking about what it is we really 'need' that ONLY GOD can really give!

When I was Blessed to be 'born again', I knew (that I knew) that I KNEW GOD had somehow entered into my putrid heart and washed it all clean. How did this happen? I have no idea. All I know is that primarily, a Christian befriended me, and instead of underlining all the reasons why I was undoubtedly going to hell, they loved me enough to invite me into GOD's Presence!

I don't remember if there was sanctified and clever preaching in the Church that day or if the worship group were calling down Angels from Heaven. What I do know is that while I was 'in' God's Presence, everything changed for me!

So, if someone were to ask 'me' to define a Christian, I would have no hesitation in describing them as: "Someone who 'knows' enough to brag on the Awesome Redeeming Power of GOD's Grace IN HIS PRESENCE.

... come on! Let's go there together now. Our Heavenly Father is waiting for us.

GOD, who created all our hearts, says, “Come to Me, my dear Child, and I will show you how to break free and live! Do your part and trust in Me enough to honour Me.” 🥰
