We ALL need to know GOD’s will for our lives.
Think about it, if He wants me to turn right - and head towards my blessing, but I’m insisting on heading left, then how can He bless me when it's the wrong path?
I can’t remember how many times someone has asked me to pray for them for ‘the will of GOD’ to be revealed to them, and I respond the same way I have for many years. “Put on your walking shoes and your coat and go for a long walk – preferably somewhere quiet so you can have no distractions. Take a pen and paper with you too, because you’ll need them to write down all that He tells you…”
Lord GOD, help us to let go of all the ‘things’ and ‘thoughts’ that WE have convinced ourselves that we can’t possibly do without and that will (somehow) benefit our lives ... and in laying them down, to turn to You and honestly ask, “Holy Father, what is Your Perfect will for my life?”
… and please, Holy Spirit, then give me the heart (and courage) to perform it for Your Glory and my benefit.
