(Isaiah 43:18) "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old."

How easily can we become confused and forget ‘who’ we really are when our feelings, circumstances, negative thoughts or just the day-to-day tsunami of life’s daily ‘la la’ gang up on us?

When a car forgets how it's supposed to perform, an engineer must repair the missing directives by reinputting and 'resetting' the computer so that it performs as it should.

So, how do we reset our lives with GOD? It begins with repentance. Tell GOD you know you have wandered off track and want to return from your old, lost and confused ways of living. Next, you must turn (or return) to Jesus Christ and ask Him to come into (or return to) your life as your 'Saviour' and 'Lord'. Once you do this, GOD Himself comes to live within you by His Holy Spirit, and He will show you how to live.

Here are just a few 'reset' truths of who you are, courtesy of GOD's Word.

  • I am born of God, and the evil one does not touch me (1 John 5:18).
  • I am holy and without blame before Him in love (Ephesians 1:4; 1 Peter 1:16).
  • I have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16; Philippians 2:5).
  • I have the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
  • The Spirit of God, who is greater than the enemy in the world, lives in me (1 John 4:4).

Apply them. Remind yourself of them by speaking them over your life - then search the Bible for more …

GOD, who created all our hearts, says, “Come to Me, my dear Child, and I will show you how to break free and live! Do your part and trust in Me enough to honour Me.” ❤️
