(Jesus speaking) “Don’t worry or surrender to your fear…” (John 14:1)
Our Church held an international conference a while ago, and we hosted some of the Italian delegates.
While we were eating, a lovely lady opened up about her fears about her being able to bear children. Apparently, she was prone to miscarriage! She told us all that she was pregnant (again) by only a few months, but she was distraught as, during her morning shower, she looked down and saw she was spotting blood! As she opened up about that, she broke down and sobbed with fear...
I'd just been reading Hebrews 4:2 that morning and it came burning to my mouth: For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it...
We spent the next few hours reassuring and praying over our sister that GOD loved her and only wanted the 'best' for her. We witnessed a miracle in how her timidity faded away and faith arose!
Long story short, some years later, I visited their Church in Italy and saw that not only brought her baby to birth, but that she'd subsequently borne another two healthy and happy children!
