And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God.
And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” (Rom 8:15)
Anyone reading this who’s ever allowed GOD into their hearts will understand the overwhelming feeling of total Love and Joy that floods in, and how it is we can then say (and understand) just how ‘Beloved’ our Heavenly Father really is!
Just 14 months ago, I stood by and watched my beautiful Mother step over from this life to His. She died with her rosary beads wrapped tight around her hand, and all the time holding firm onto His Promise that she would be with Him and all her family at His banqueting table.
The last words she told me were - "my son, don't grieve for me; I go to our Beloved Father!"
