“GOD, the Master, The Holy of Israel, has this solemn counsel: “Your salvation requires you to turn back to me and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on me…” (Isaiah‬ ‭30:15)

You have two choices this morning ...

You can either skim-read this - in which case it will read like an irate note left for you by a vexed parent.

Or - you can absorb the Spirit's words slowly and pivoting on the word 'silly'; you will begin to see for yourself how our Father GOD is not chiding but is actively encouraging us to stop with all the things 'we think we should do' (things that just steal our love and peace), and settle down instead in complete dependence on Him.

GOD knows whenever we're faced with the reality of losing hope, and He provides. All He asks is that we return to where we last heard Him and receive His Awesome Peace again...

"May the God of green hope fill you up with joy, fill you up with peace, so that your believing lives, filled with the life-giving energy of the Holy Spirit, will brim over with hope!" (Rom 15:13‬)

“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches.” (Rev 3:6‬)
