But he (GOD) answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.”
So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak, I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. So I’m not defeated by my weakness, but delighted!
For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to God’s power. (2 Cor 12:9)
… because of my love for Christ … my weakness becomes a portal to GOD’s Power!
They mocked our Christ – but it didn’t phase him.
They plotted – and it didn’t budge him.
They threatened - and he just shrugged his shoulders.
In fact, right up until his close friend’s betrayal and his ultimate crucifixion, he STILL didn’t succumb to temptation and curse those who he knew were nothing more than the cat’s paw.
Because of His love for His Father GOD, he knew that all these weaknesses became a Portal to GOD’s Power in Him.
Lord Jesus, please forgive me for whingeing, bitching, and moaning about all my situations…! Like the woman at the well, open my eyes to see that it’s YOU who are trying to help me accept Your Grace.
