(Galatians 6:14) “For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world,

... set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate.

The older you get, the more you begin to baulk at this... 'stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate!'

When the Holy Spirit opens your eyes, you realise that everything in this world is about manipulation and, ultimately, 'control.'

GOD, however, asks us to choose the opposite by running to Him—because everything in His Kingdom is about Peace, freedom and enjoying life!

Can’t you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do … It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life! All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God—his chosen people. Peace and mercy on them! (Gal 6:14)."

Holy Spirit, please touch the heart of whoever is reading this. Draw them into Your presence and show them that You continue to speak and answer prayers today. Amen. 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—Alastair, Barbara, Ian, James, Keiron, Jay, Liliana, Maria and Susanna. Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
