So ... if we're reading this (and believe it), then how should we respond?
For me, I'm praying - Holy Spirit, you were given to me in order to lead me into all Truth. but I'm making such a mess down here 'doing my own thing' and I honestly don’t want to be in the driver's seat of my life anymore... I so easily get angry, judgemental, overly ambitious, proud, hurtful, unfeeling, merciless, obdurate ... everything you came to save me from!
Please forgive and lead me … break my stony heart for what breaks Yours

My friend Ian - he's having to undergo some pretty severe, invasive and intense head surgery beginning this Wednesday in order to save his life. Please pray for the operation to be successful. That the tumour cells are fully removed without too much damage to his face and body, that the flesh transplant takes and that he doesn't get any infections.
