“Jeremiah 50:46) “At the cry, Babylon has been taken! the earth shall tremble, and the cry shall be heard among the nations.

Reading this prophetic statement, we have two options. We can either scoff at the truth of it and point out to all and sundry all the dark and gloomy circumstances that continually surround us, OR we can hold onto the truth as spoken through Jesus, the Christ of GOD, “I am the Light of the World. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

Are you, or is someone you love, in darkness right now? Close your eyes to the world and its constant noise, and reach out to the heart of your Father, GOD. What are you hoping for – healing? Deliverance from depression, debt or addictions? Whatever you need, it’s all there in the myriad promises and Presence of our Father God.

(Isaiah 9:2) “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. For those who lived in a land of deep shadows— light! sunbursts of light! You repopulated the nation, you expanded its joy. Oh, they’re so glad in your presence! Festival joy! The joy of a great celebration, sharing rich gifts and warm greetings…! For a child has been born—for us! the gift of a son—for us! He’ll take over the running of the world. His names will be: Amazing Counsellor, Strong God, Eternal Father, Prince of Wholeness. His ruling authority will grow, and there’ll be no limits to the wholeness he brings. He’ll rule from the historic David throne over that promised kingdom. He’ll put that kingdom on a firm footing and keep it going with fair dealing and right living, beginning now and lasting always. The zeal of GOD -of-the-Angel-Armies will do all this.

In fact, let’s all join together for those in need right now and approach the Amazing Counsellor, Strong God, Eternal Father, Prince of Wholeness, using the words of Jesus's mother Mary and say: “May it be done to me (and all of us) according to your Word!”

Holy Spirit, please touch the heart of whoever is reading this. Draw them into Your presence and show them that You continue to speak and answer prayers today. Amen. 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—such as Barbara and Ian fighting cancer. We also pray for a quick and complete healing for Keiron, Jay and Liliana. Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
