(John 14:16) "And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counsellor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you."

Question: "Who is the Holy Spirit to you?" I was speaking to my good friend and mentor, John Smith, when I asked him this question, and without missing a beat, this was his response...

"He is the most amazing Gift promised by the Lord. He loves me, cares for me, never criticises me, always encourages me, is my ever-present help in time of need, protects and surrounds me with his Angels in my coming and going, keeps my feet from falling, raises me up, washes me clean and I couldn't survive one day without him."💞

A short while later, my friend Julian Jackson called me over something, and I asked him the same question; he replied, "The Holy Spirit witnesses to me so I can witness to others, but it’s more than that; it’s the comfort of knowing His Presence is always there. 🙏💕✝️

What about you... Who is the Holy Spirit to you?

Holy Spirit, please touch the heart of whoever is reading this. Draw them into Your presence and show them that You continue to speak and answer prayers today. Amen. 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—such as Barbara and Ian fighting cancer. We also pray for a quick and complete healing for Keiron, Jay and Liliana. Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
