(Romans 8:14) "For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God."
I'm sure that by now, you're starting to think that 'being filled with the Holy Spirit' means that you have to 'physically' be as Jesus was. So, if I were to ask, "Who was the first recorded person in the Bible to be filled with the Holy Spirit?" You'd probably say someone like Adam or some Prophet.
You'd be quite wrong! (Exodus 31:5) The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft.”
So, because Jesus clearly tells us (Mark 16:15), "... Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." That means that we can reveal the Goodness and Grace of God wherever the Holy Spirit places us, whether we're musicians or carpenters or moms with kids or ...!
In fact, the power that the Holy Spirit gives us is powerful both in the natural and the supernatural because it is 'His' power, 'His' love, and 'His' self-discipline.
Remember that power to 'do' can be many things, but when backed up by the Holy Spirit, a natural characteristic such as boldness becomes exponentially empowered, for example, when preaching the gospel and performing healing miracles (just read Acts).
Holy Spirit, please touch the heart of whoever is reading this. Draw them into Your presence and show them that You continue to speak and answer prayers today. Amen.
Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—such as Barbara and Ian fighting cancer. We also pray for a quick and complete healing for Keiron, Jay and Liliana. Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
