(Deu 30:3) "God, your God, will restore everything you lost; he’ll have compassion on you; he’ll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered."

When GOD comes to Church! (4)

Some time ago, some friends at the Way of the Spirit asked my wife and me to come and give a word at their Church. As soon as we arrived, I noticed a poor, sad-looking man wandering around the place, desperately trying to calm a very young baby.

The baby wouldn’t stop crying no matter who helped, and in fact, the poor guy continued struggling throughout the service. When it came to the end of service, I made a bee-line towards him, whereas my wife zoomed in on a lady hiding at the back of the room!

The next thing I saw was my wife holding onto the lady by her shoulders and speaking life and truth into her...

Long story short - we left the mother (we had subsequently learned that the lady was the baby’s mother) holding on to the baby and crying and kissing it as if her life depended on it.

We didn’t know what happened then, but the Vicar sent us the following letter a few days later. “… You’ll never know how much you blessed this family. After the birth of the child, the poor mother couldn’t even face holding him and just disappeared into herself. The father obviously struggled through the ongoing trauma, and it genuinely looked as if their marriage was next to go.

"I don’t suppose we’ll ever really know what your wife said to her, but I can assure you that whatever it was brought forth a huge miracle. She is quite back to her old self and hasn’t stopped hugging and kissing her son since the moment you left. She is likewise totally reconciled with her beloved husband! All Glory to GOD! PS. All of us here are still crying over this beautiful Miracle…"

Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11) ❤️

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—such as Barbara and Ian fighting cancer. We also pray for a quick and full healing for Jay. Please grant your power of healing to those who minister to all the sick among us so that they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. 🙏
