Good question, Jesus. What do we want from You…?

Hmmm ... We have great health care now..! We have self-awareness courses…! We have loads of TV programmes to fill our time…! We have super quick mobile phones with internet access that feed us what we need and exactly where we can get it...! We have airconditioned Shopping Malls…! We have so much fashion to choose from...! Etc. etc…!

What could we possibly need that we can only get from You …?

Only Jesus's Presence can fix your abject loneliness...

Only Jesus's Presence can heal your hurting heart...

Only Jesus's Presence can fulfil your aching need for acceptance…

Only Jesus's Presence can fix your depression...

Only Jesus's Presence can remove your alcohol/ drug dependency...

Only Jesus's Presence can bring your family back together...

Only Jesus's Presence can remove the tightness in your chest and the ever-growing weight off your back as you read this...

NB - Thank you for your prayer support for Jean and Ian. I got the following prayer update yesterday from Jean's brother in law: "...I left Jean at 9.30 last night (at the hospital). She was having hallucinations! I left her sister Claire there with her as I have to get up at 4am for work..."

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve your sick servant, and give your power of healing to those who minister to her needs so that she may be strengthened in her weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
