"All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too." (2 Cor 1:4).

The way I see it, it's like having a vitamin deficiency, and we need an urgent infusion. So, for example, there are times when we're low on Vitamin C, so He brings someone into our lives who’s got loads of it. They nourish us and bring us back up to speed so that we can then begin giving out again to others.

BUT—We should ALWAYS check with the Holy Spirit first because I've learned (the hard way) that if you insist on hanging on to the human giver (as your personal blessing) instead of letting them go in peace when the time comes, you run the risk of depleting their resources and overdosing yourself!

Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11) ❤️

NB - Thank you for your prayer support for Jean and Ian. I got a prayer update yesterday that Jean had been rushed to A&E with severe stomach pains. She writes: "Not such a good night last night. My body is aching and at the moment the strong painkillers they've given me are not working. I will pray again. At about midnight- 1 am I opened my bible and read Psalm 119 verse 89 through to 176. Very strong words. I am fortunate that none of my friends try and sway me away from my faith. But aware other things could. But I'm staying strong in my faith. Thank you all again for your prayers and support. Jean (Worthing)

NNB - I've just read Psalm 119:89/176 that Jean's referring to, and bearing in mind that this has been highlighted to us by a woman who has just been sent home by the hospice because there's nothing more they can do... Oh Lord, please help our hearts receive Your goodness!
