You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow, Say this: “God, you’re my refuge. I trust in you and I’m safe!” (Ps 91:1).

Weirdly, as we grow up, we strongly develop an artificial sense of entitlement. We assume that we have the right to be happy and that somehow we deserve the good and comfortable circumstances of life. In fact, we all assume that we'll be able to live a long, healthy, and full life.

Then, when circumstances turn against us, we whinge, whine, moan and dramatically throw all our toys out of the pram at all our perceived losses - choosing to forget that the Word of GOD promises us that He’ll deliver us “in” the circumstances, not “from” them!

So … as the Psalmist continually says (and the lovely Jean underscored for us yesterday), “God, you’re my refuge. I trust in you, and I’m safe!”

Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11) ❤️

NB - Thank you for your prayer support for Jean and Ian. I'll keep trying to get you an update from Ian too as soon as possible.
