“So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder (separate). (Matt 19:6).
Holy Scripture tells us that GOD has joined us to His Son as His bride.
Let's take a minute to think about the implications as we review some wedding vows:
I promise to encourage and inspire you, to stand by you and stand up for you. I promise to laugh with you, cry with you, and grow with you. I will hold your hand with every one of our days together. I promise to be your navigator, best friend, and husband/wife; honour, love, and cherish you through all life's adventures!
The Holy Spirit reminds me that "Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, that He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendour, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless]." (Eph 5:25)
Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11)
