"The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant." (Psa 25:14)

To assist my research, I follow a number of people whenever I’m looking for the correct translation of Hebrew words. For example, translated into English, the above Scripture states, ”The ‘secret’ of the Lord is with them that fear Him.”

Yet when I researched the Hebrew word for secret, I found through Dan Bergman that it is ’sod’ סוֹד (pronounced sode) - and ‘sod’ doesn’t mean secret; it means “intimate company.”

So, the Scripture would be better translated as “The intimate company of the Lord is with them that fear Him.”

Well, we know that the fear of the Lord is the first thing, the first step, on our way to trusting Him for salvation because once he comes to live in our hearts, we realise that He (alone) has the Power and the Right, to judge us as guilty and throw us into Hell. But instead, His Love for us was so great that He sent Jesus, His perfect, sinless son – GOD in a human body, to die on the cross for ‘us.’

So, having intimate company with God - for eternity, is the absolute reason you were created! The only way to do that is to fear Him and open-heartedly have all your daily sins forgiven, which is only possible through giving the indwelling Holy Spirit access to 'every' aspect of your life.

Our Heaven Father reminds me of Jesus's prayer: "...Jesus ...raised His eyes to heaven [in prayer] and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, so that Your Son may glorify You. Just as You have given Him power and authority over all mankind, [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him [to be His—permanently and forever]. Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true [supreme and sovereign] God, and [in the same manner know] Jesus [as the] Christ whom You have sent." (John 17:1)

Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11) ❤️
