… how bold and free we then become in his presence, freely asking according to his will, sure that he’s listening.

I watched an amazingly touching video a while ago of a 2/3-year-old girl sobbing uncontrollably while sitting in a car seat behind her daddy.

No matter what he says, he can't seem to pacify her. This goes on for a while until he finally has to stop the car and let her out of her seat, and while she was standing on his lap, he kept wiping away her little tears and asking her what was wrong.

No matter what he says or does, her sobbing does not abate, and she was obviously finding it hard to reply. Finally, wiping away her tears, he asks, “Do you want a hug?” And she lunges forward and melts into his arms.

Just like this example, there is no formula for achieving our Heavenly Father’s love... (and we are created in His Image).
