"But Jesus looked at them and said, “With people [as far as it depends on them] it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matt 19:26)

Since moving to Italy, we have been trudging uphill through so many problems with the house that it reminded me of a silly scene from Airplane. In it, a character slaps a woman to make her snap out of her panic state. Then, as the camera pans back, it turns out there's a whole line of people just waiting to slap her as well.

Anyway, I’ve been thinking about the need to keep praising (rather than my constant [and not hidden from you, Lord] daily griping and moaning), and I was led to this truth, which touched my heart, and I wanted to share it with you.

OK, well, the Bible states (and neuroscience agrees) that praising GOD together with prayers of gratitude are excellent at knocking out anxiety and addiction - and they actually keep your brain healthy, too.

These two disciplines enable your brain to move out of the anxious zone and into the grateful zone. Once there, all the fears, uncertainty, and worries are safely put onto the shoulders of the One who was given to us to carry them—Our Lord Jesus.

So, as you Praise GOD and offer prayers of gratitude, your brain shifts, and the weight is lifted to Jesus and at that point, the Peace of GOD floods your heart, and you can move in a way you never thought possible.

When we praise GOD in difficult times, He steps in to intervene in our situations. (See Acts chapter 16: Paul and Silas were thrown into prison, and while there, they began to pray and sing hymns, and God stepped into the situation with Power.)

Our Heaven Father is saying, “Behold, I am the Lord, the GOD of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?” (Jer 32:27)

“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11) ❤️
