I once had the honour of preaching at a service in France where GOD came to Church!

The Church was extremely broken. The Pastor was doing his best to hold it all together, but all his efforts just turned people off, and he ended up a control freak with the result that there were so many empty seats around that you'd have thought we were an hour early!

Where there used to be around 60 vibrant young people attending each week, there was now only a handful - and their sullen faces spoke volumes.

Long story short ... Jesus came to Church!

I spoke the Word that He placed into my heart, and when I gave the altar call, the first one to stand before me was the Pastor's prodigal son (by all accounts, he'd given up on Church and hadn't attended for well over a year).

This then is his story as recorded, "I stood before the preacher and with my mind said to GOD, I suppose you want me to repent? The preacher's eyes burned into me - my Soul. He spoke and said, I don't need your resentful repentance. At that, he started moving away from me to the next person in line! Something in me jumped at this, and I grabbed his sleeve and dragged him back. With my mind again, I blurted, Do you know what's in my mind? Once again, the preacher looked deep into me and speaking gently but firmly said, I know what's in your mind, your heart AND your pocket! I was carrying many drugs!

GOD came to Church and ...

YES – people were miraculously set free from the toxic dependencies that bound them!

YES – people were miraculously healed from terrible diseases – mental, physical and spiritual!

YES – people were wonderfully and magnificently redeemed and loved …!

The point I’m trying to make isn’t how wonderful a speaker I am, how Holy, or whatever it was ‘I’ managed to do to make it happen …! It’s simply HOW AWESOME THE GOD WHO WANTS TO SET HIS PEOPLE FREE BY LIVING IN YOU DAILY is!

Open your heart and say with me, “Come Holy Spirit, be welcome into my life and set me free to follow You into Your life of REAL adventure!
