“Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer ...and a man who had been unable to walk from birth was being carried along, ... when he saw Peter and John ...he began asking [them] for coins. But Peter, along with John, stared at him intently and said, “Look at us!” ... “Silver and gold I do not have; but what I do have I give to you: In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] walk and go on walking!” ... And at once his feet and ankles became strong and steady, and with a leap he stood up and began to walk... (Acts 3:1)”
I told my wife that I’d completed what I believe to be a series of messages from the Lord, and she admonished me for not recounting my recent Grace experience. So, not so long since, and as most of you will know, I had another serious heart failure, which resulted in my being told that this time, half of my heart had ‘unfortunately’ died (doctor’s words). As I lay in the hospital mulling over the ramifications of what the Surgeon had just said, I couldn’t get past my seemingly short future (YES, I was feeling extremely fearful). Anyway, it was at this point that I heard the Lord speak Psalm 73:26 to me. I must have read this Psalm hundreds of times before, but obviously, it was a Rhema Word direct from GOD this time.
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
I lay there stunned! I knew this was a direct Word of Life, and so (like nourishing food) I kept on (and subsequently keep on) speaking it out over myself, [especially whenever I feel pain or discomfort in my chest]. Anyway, ensuing tests have shown that “an odd thing has happened” (doctor’s words again). “It seems that a vein from the right-hand side of your heart has ‘somehow’ gone and attached itself to the left-hand side of your heart, resulting in (doctor’s words again) “almost excellent heart function.”
OK, all Glory to God. My point to all of this is clearly outlined above in Acts 3: I might not have the means to help with all your life’s problems, but I certainly know that Jesus can, and “what I do have (the Grace that GOD has shown me), I now give to you.”
So, for K with the heart issues – “what I do have my brother, I give to you. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
For K with all the problems you juggle with - what I do have I give to you. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
For J struggling with mind and depression issues - what I do have I give to you son. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
For S with reconstruction issues - what I do have I give to you. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
For I, recovering from throat cancer and his dear family - what I do have I give to you my brother. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
For V with the on-going foot problem - what I do have I give to you. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
For M and for all the family problems of health and stuff - what I do have I give to you. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
For my friend M who has fought the brave fight - what I do have I give to you. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
For my dear F - what I do have I give to you. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
For my dear friend J and your leg - what I do have I give to you. In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] be healed and go on being healed!”
If I’ve missed anyone, please don’t feel you’ve missed the bus. GOD isn’t stupid. He knows what you need even before you ask. Reach out your hands and heart to Him and tell him, “Lord, I want the Grace that you gave my brother Warren…”
As usual, I've asked the Lord what He wants to say to you, and I believe He led me here.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Rev 3:20)
“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11)
