To follow up on yesterday's post, in which I let you all know that we used to host a Praise and worship night at our home every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday evening …
Anyway, one Sunday evening, as the Praise and Worship flew, another new lady to the group suddenly stood up quite abruptly and fled as if being chased ...!
We didn't see her again until a Wednesday night some weeks later, and when asked what had happened, this was her story.
"I had an abortion while in my teens, and I've never given it much thought now that I have three beautiful children with my husband. Then, as the Worship started, I suddenly 'saw' myself back in 'that room!' - I couldn't cope with the awful memory and had to flee!
Then, a few nights later, I had the same vision, but the difference this time was that he (she pointed to me) was there, but instead of organising an abortion, he kept asking me to push!
Once the baby was safely delivered, he held it up proudly and, turning to someone alongside him, loudly exclaimed, "It's a boy, it's a boy!" I turned to see this other person's face—AND IT WAS JESUS!"
"Shame flooded over me like a cold tide, and I quickly turned my face away, but Jesus bent over me and ever so gently turned my face back towards Him and said, "Don't worry, little one, I'll look after your son for you ..."
As you can imagine, this was again followed by more tears, snot, and oodles of tissues. And after promising my wife that It wasn't really me there in her vision, we went back to Praising the Lord.
As usual, I've asked the Lord what He wants to say to you, and I believe He led me here.
"My heart grieves for the awful consequences of the sins of my children, and so I give them my Son Jesus, who will ever be their complete Redeemer."
“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11)
