This is the kind of life you’ve been invited into, the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step. (‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:21)

Many of you will know by now that as a religious Catholic, I grew up with knowledge of the historical Jesus only and how I struggled when I was introduced to the VERY LIVING Christ of GOD.

Yes, I loved that I’d somehow come alive with what I’d just experienced - and I genuinely wanted more, but I struggled to let go of my lifestyle - all the bling and crud that the world was offering ... so very craftily, knowing that because of my life choices, my prayers wouldn't even hit the ceiling, I turned to a woman that I knew was praying for me and in effect, I made her my intercessor - calmly bombarding her daily with all my prayer requests.

She was lovely and extremely patient, and this relationship would have probably gone on forever – but for GOD, Who had other ideas. He didn’t want one of His kids abused by another or for me to be as badly bound up as I was with one foot clearly in each camp!

And so, for nearly 40 years, He’s been showing me day by day how to live the kind of life Jesus lives and how it can be done step-by-step!

So I can truthfully say, and with all confidence, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Prov 3:5)
