A Priest walks into a Barber's shop and asks for a haircut. After a while, the Barber can't control himself and blurts out, "I'm sorry, Priest, but I don't believe in GOD; I've never seen him, and all I see is a broken world full of broken people that he doesn't seem to help...!
As the Barber rants on, the Priest stays silent but, all the while, stares out of the window, his lips moving slowly as if in prayer. When the Barber finishes, the Priest pays, thanks him and then walks outside to where a homeless man is hunched in a doorway.
The Priest picks up the homeless man whose hair and beard are all over the place and walks him back into the Barber's shop. "Can you please help this man by cutting his hair and beard," he asks the barber.
"Of course, I can," responds the Barber.
"How do you think this man has gotten into this state?" The Priest asks.
The Barber responds, "I don't know, but if he'd come to me sooner, I would have certainly sorted him out!"
