(GOD speaking) “No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end.” (Isa 60:19)
Most of us will read this and think of it as a delightful prophetic moment set in some future time.
Instead, think of it as the day when you (finally) ditch all 'your' plans; A, B, C ... when you stop squirming like a fish caught in a net trying desperately to get back into the sea of troubles, and your heart finally connects with GOD’s.
This isn't a future day, but a ‘today’ day - when GOD Himself will comfort you in all your troubles.
Child of the Living GOD, it's just like the hymn .... 'turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his wonderful face, and the things of this world will go strangely dim, in the light of his Glory and Grace...'
