(Deuteronomy 5:27) "Go near and hear all that the Lord our God will say, and speak to us all that the Lord our God will speak to you, and we will hear and do it."
Our sister Rita had a great response to the word about receiving Manna directly from the Lord a couple of days ago. She writes, [As per the above Scripture] "I was reminded about this time in the desert when God invited all the people to come and meet Him, they refused and sent Moses; they only wanted to communicate through a mediator. This has continued and is still happening, where people prefer a mediator rather than having their own relationship with the Father. In many churches, it is even a 'rule' that the leadership knows best and actively discourages people from having their own experiences with God. Maybe God is changing our approach. As you have said, "They need to learn and be encouraged to seek Him for themselves." Just a thought.
(To me) - it seems that many of us prefer to follow after someone who appears to be wiser, stronger, spiritually superior, and more anointed - either because we don't believe we are good enough to be led by the Holy Spirit, or ...?!?
Whatever you may feel, the Bible emphasises and actively encourages us to learn from our mistakes and seek wisdom and guidance (especially after making errors) as a path to growth and spiritual maturity. It highlights that no one is perfect and that our mistakes are opportunities for learning and becoming wiser. (James 1:5, Proverbs 1:5, 1 John 1:8).
Furthermore, once we have received GOD's forgiveness, we are empowered to forgive ourselves. NB—Forgiving ourselves is not about minimising or justifying our actions but about recognising that GOD has forgiven us (through the Work of Christ Jesus) and then choosing to move forward with grace, compassion, and understanding.

Please pray with me, “Holy Father, You teach us through Your Word that forgiving ourselves is a path to freedom from guilt and condemnation, allowing us to experience Your Grace and therefore enabling us to move forward with a renewed sense of peace and purpose. Please help me understand and absorb this Truth.“ Amen
