(Mark11:24) [Jesus speaking] “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Fabulous Scripture promise to begin our prayers on, isn't it? So how is it that most of us start our prayers with Mark 9:22, "...if you can do anything...?"

I was out walking the dogs this morning, and after I prayed for the people in my heart (broken bones, broken marriages, broken families, broken people... I felt really heavy and (to be honest) a tad depressed! Then, GOD got me thinking about people who have been used in Scripture to encourage us not to quit! People who used to pray until GOD gave them peace and then moved them onto something else. People like Daniel who did not stop praying for GOD to move, and GOD had to send an Angel to tell him his prayer had been answered. People like Hannah, who also prayed until something happened in her life, and people like Jabez.

Anyway, old or new testament - GOD ALWAYS ANSWERS PRAYER!

NB - the answer may not manifest after our chosen method! Or maybe it’s because He wants us to ‘stay’ awhile in His Presence and ‘talk’ to Him! (Sometimes, it’s the only way He can get us to drop everything and just 'be' with Him)!

GOD, who created all our hearts, says, “Come to Me, my dear Child, and I will show you how to break free and live! Do your part and trust in Me enough to honour Me.” 🥰
