(2 Peter 1:3) ”Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received!

We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust."

You've probably seen that Jesus has stuck me onto a particular 'theme' ... our need of "Getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God."

Like yesterday's message, all it requires is for us to accept 'the best invitation we ever received,' is to choose to do this.

The thing is, for most of us, the term ‘pleasing GOD’ can sound heavy and dull. Like when you're out with friends playing and your mother calls you in for supper ... "Oh, no, not now!" we respond!

(BUT) once you choose to go down that path, I GUARANTEE you'll find all the Heavenly Graces (we need daily) – life, joy, peace, health, worth, value, etc!

GOD, who created all our hearts, says, “Come to Me, my dear Child, and I will show you how to break free and live! Do your part and trust in Me enough to honour Me.” 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—Baby Owen, Baby Pasley, Angela, Tina, Louise, Betty, Maria, Lorenzo, Matteo, Romeo, Sebastian, Nathaniel, Marissa, Ron, Amy, Franca, Daniela, Kristina, Paul, Roger, Alastair, Ian, Alex, Alexander, Lynette, James, Keiron, Samantha, Jay, Liliana, Maria, Susanna, and those you bring to our minds right now… Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
