(Hebrews 13:14) "This “insider world” is not our home."

We’ve all heard the statement that we’re all made to be unique and should live that way. Unfortunately, peer pressure is a hard taskmaster, and we soon learn that it's so much easier to just acquiesce and conform.

This process of 'going with the flow' is an intricate, nuanced web of la la and lies that starts subtly in our formative years and attains full strength by the time we begin to integrate into society.

We all struggle with school and think (hope) that it will end there, but soon realise that work is just as bad. And it doesn’t end there. The web of deceit and conformity expands exponentially and can reach into our homes, play, and even our church if we let it.

The Word of GOD tells us not to compromise and that if we allow ourselves to do whatever it takes to get ‘inside,’ we’ll regret it—because it isn’t our true home!

Lord Jesus, please open my eyes to see where I’ve compromised my dreams and heart ...! Break me away from whatever I’ve chained myself to. It's never too late for You to change me. Help me to BE the Child You created me to be! Amen! 

(GOD’s Word to you) "Do not lose heart, my Child – Trust in Me enough to honour Me.” 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—Paul, Roger, Alastair, Ian, Alex, Alexander, Lynette, James, Keiron, Jay, Liliana, Maria, Susanna, and those you bring to our minds right now… Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
