“If you are truly serious about coming back to God, clean house. Get rid of the foreign gods and fertility goddesses, ground yourselves firmly in God, worship him and him alone, and he’ll save you from Philistine oppression.” (1 Sam 7:3).

How does this apply to us today? What 'gods' do we worship or give ourselves to completely? And what's oppressing us?

I guess it’s easy to think of the usual sex, drugs and booze, but what about cars, clothes and houses? And if that doesn't float your boat, what about body shapes and bank balances...?

Our Heaven Father is saying, “Child of Mine, don’t let that which is no more than a parasite suck the life from you.”

“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11)
