Woe (judgment is coming) to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! (Isa 5:20).

I'm writing this just now because I've had a stupid problem with a certain supplier recently, and it would have been so easy for me to lie and stop paying their totally unjustified fine! The trouble with that was that GOD's still small voice wouldn't let me! "Better to pay the fine and turn the other cheek than to willingly choose a darker path and lose the Presence of the Lord Almighty!"

That got me thinking. It wasn't that long ago when people lied and got caught there used to be consequences. Now, politicians and the like can get away with actually employing 'spin doctors' to twist the narrative to suit their own storyline!

Nonetheless, we've had many Scriptural warnings about men turning evil for good, e.g.

But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them. (2 Tim 3:1)

Lord, these poor unfortunates are just the cat's paw; we don't want any of them to die in their captivity and end up in hell. Please, Father, as you did for me, make a way for them to see the truth of what they are doing, renounce their lifestyle and instead turn to you for Mercy, Grace and Freedom!

As usual, I've asked the Lord what He wants to say to you, and after reading the above, I believe He led me here.

"Every man’s way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs and examines the hearts [of people and their motives]. (Prverbs 21:2)

“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11)
