GOD called to the Man: “Where are you?” (Gen 3:8)

I read this just now and thought, GOD is (constantly) calling, and how I respond really does depend upon which tree I’ve just been eating from.

If it’s fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (self-interest), then it’s: “I won’t be a minute Lord, I’m just finishing this TV programme… This book… This … ”

Or if I’m enjoying fruit from the Tree of Life (and my loving passion for him is strong), then it’s: “Here I am, Lord.”

Maybe it's time for you to go check your fruit bowl?

“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11)
