Jesus raised his eyes to heaven and prayed, “Father, I’m grateful that you have listened to me. I know you always do listen, but on account of this crowd standing here I’ve spoken so that they might believe that you sent me.” (John‬ ‭11:41)

This got me thinking … do WE believe that God is ‘listening’ when we likewise raise ‘our’ eyes to Heaven?

I've mentioned before that in my early Christian walk, I used to constantly go to my Discipler, a lovely lady called Margaret. She always had time for me, exuded Jesus in every way and seemed to have such a wonderful sense of His being that I just ‘knew’ that whatever she asked for would ultimately get sorted!

It took GOD a long while to pull this ‘comfort blanket’ away from me and show me that I didn't need a nursemaid because He ‘did’ hear me. That He did value me. That He truly loved ‘me’ …!

Perhaps you’re at that place yourself today? Listen up as Father GOD tugs at your heartstrings right now and tells your heart: “I always hear you, My Child. My plans for you are perfect and point to the day when you, like Jesus, will likewise acknowledge, “Thank You that You ‘always’ hear me!”

Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches.” (Rev 3:6‬)
