Spontaneous prayers have always been difficult for most of us. When you hear some people pray, it's as if they have the whole thing tattooed on the inside of their eyelids! How do they manage to remember everything when once I start, I can barely remember the name of the person or the situation I'm supposed to be praying for??

In the beginning, I hung around these clever prayer warriors to better understand their methods - it didn't do me much good. I also read countless ‘self-help’ books to try and to better connect with GOD so I could copy how they do it, and I still ended up falling onto the classic prayer, "Lord, please help!"

All the time, GOD – who created every heart says, “Stop stressing. I hear the intent of your heart and know all your needs. My love will guide you through – do your part and trust me enough to honour me.”
