Open up before GOD, keep nothing back; he’ll do whatever needs to be done… (‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37:5)

This Scripture reminds me of a time when I was in a real huff with GOD because I couldn’t get what I wanted and couldn’t see why not!

Anyway, I started pouring through the Bible (like a lawyer), looking for any precedent where GOD had given in to similar demands ... I worked hard and managed to put together a really convincing argument when I heard GOD saying to me, "When you talk to me don’t couch everything in holy language – just be real!” Well, that was enough, so I did! I cast aside all restraints and poured out all my grief, hurt, pain and frustration …!

Did it all get sorted? Actually, I can’t remember. But I certainly felt a lot better for knowing that GOD wanted me (expected me) to behave more like a friend than a lawyer with him!

Just be real with Him, Child of the Living GOD - He knows what's in your heart anyway!
