Who or what can get to me? (Heb 13:5)

As I understand it, trust isn’t just abrogating our responsibilities by trying to protect our vulnerabilities and running away. No, but instead, we willingly accept - and actually ‘increase’ our vulnerability by allowing ourselves to rely upon the One Who has Promised to help us.

It's a bit like going to a doctor with a busted hand. We don’t really want someone further messing with us and creating even more pain, but we trust that once they’ve sorted it all out, the healing will come.

So, we come to You, Jesus, our 'Redeemer' and 'Saviour' because through Your Atonement, teachings, hope, peace, and example, You help us change our lives, face our trials, and move forward with faith as we journey back to You and our Heavenly Father.
