(Jesus speaking) “Do you see this woman? … She was forgiven many, many sins, and so she is very, very grateful. If the forgiveness is minimal, the gratitude is minimal.” (Luke 7:43)

Many years ago, something happened that I will never (can never) forget. We’d just been worshipping in a home group when one of the ladies fell on her knees and began sobbing uncontrollably. No one could console her, and she just stood up and ran out! Three days later, she came back with this story.

“Many of you won’t know me, but I’ve had a pretty ugly past. During one particular episode, I got pregnant and didn’t even want to consider the rights or wrongs – I just wanted ‘my life’ to be as it was, and so I went for termination.

The problem is that although GOD has blessed me with three children since then, I just couldn’t forget what had happened and would often wake up crying.

While we were worshipping three nights ago I had such a conviction that GOD was about to heal me, and the knowledge and relief was almost too much.

As you know I ran home and, after a while, managed to sleep. I dreamt that I was back in ‘that room’ again! I was frightened and panicking, and this time, you (she pointed to me) were there like a doctor! You just telling me to push …! Finally, the baby came out, and you took it and wrapped it up.

You then turned to someone behind me and said with such joy on your face: “It’s a boy!” I turned my head to see who you were talking to, and I looked straight into Jesus’s beautiful Face! He smiled lovingly at me and said, “Don’t worry, my Child, I’ll look after him for you!”

We aren’t just forgiven through Grace; we’re BLESSED!
