Our Heavenly Father knows our hearts. Even before we decide on anything, He knows exactly and perfectly what will happen.

We can be tempted to impersonalise Him by ridding Him of such 'human' characteristics as sympathy, warmth, etc; likewise, we can even dehumanize and deny Him; the thing is, He knows when we’ve blown it - and when we’re sorry …

Whenever we repent of our selfish attitudes, our Holy Father will likewise interrupt our prepared speech, probably by placing a finger to our trembling lips and saying, "Shhh, Child of Mine, you’re back home with Me now!”
