Don’t become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That’s not partnership; that’s war… (2 Cor 6:14)

This always reminds me of the story of the young Christian girl who was constantly being harassed and bullied by her classmates for not wanting to be like them.

Apparently, her mother had passed on many years ago, and she was being brought up by her Dad, who had done his best to bring her up.

She'd suffered their heckling, snidey remarks and outright bullying from the beginning and then came the night of the school prom.

Everyone got magnificently dressed up, and as the prom drew to a close and people began to prepare to go home, the girls had quite another idea!

A huge limousine pulled up outside the school, and with a great show of display - and the envy of most of the school, the girls all piled in, heading for a pre-prepared party downtown.

As the limousine was driving away, it screeched to a halt by the young girl as she walked home on her own; a huge tinted glass window slowly slid down, and the girls inside began shrieking at the young girl to finally let her hair down and get in and go with them.

Seeing that she wouldn't budge, the leader finally shouted snidely, “What, are you frightened that your Dad might hurt you"? At that remark, all the girls inside erupted in laughter.

The young girl lifted her head, turned to face them all and, looking right in the eye of the leader, said calmly, “Actually, I’m frightened that if I joined with you, I might hurt my Dad!”

Holy Spirit, help me to think of WWJD today too.
