The LORD is good, A strength and stronghold in the day of trouble;

He knows [He recognizes, cares for, and understands fully] those who take refuge and trust in Him. (‭‭Nah ‭1:7‬)

Knowing / to be Known.

When you hear long-standing friends talk to each other, it’s almost as if they’re using code. You can catch the basic conversation, but you know that there’s an imperceptible thread to the dialogue that you’ll never apprehend. Their history bond is strong, and you can see that they ‘know each other intimately.’

Likewise, when a husband and wife of long-standing are together, their intimacy is caught through their eye and hand gestures and expressions. All these are a form of ‘knowing each other.’

Our Heavenly Father longs – yearns for us to ‘know’ him in this way too. He invites us into a ‘living’ relationship – a two-way relationship, just as He enjoyed with Jesus.

His Spirit is calling – will you come?
