He never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faith to father a child.

And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God! In spite of being nearly one hundred years old when the promise of having a son was made, his faith was so strong that it could not be undermined by the fact that he and Sarah were incapable of conceiving a child. (Rom 4:19)

Whenever anyone is struggling with believing GOD, one of my wife's favourite sayings is, “Go back to the last thing GOD ever said to you.”

The point she tries to make is that by reviewing the effects of ‘that’ particular promise gives us the confidence to now move on to the next one!

Child of the Living GOD, you have carried this promise for a long time now. Don’t abort it just because it’s late. Go back in your life and ‘remember’ how Faithful He has been.

Let Hope arise!
