How many times have we judged ourselves unfit, or unworthy, and so we've gone and asked someone else to ‘join with us in prayer…?’ Or to ‘agree with me over a problem…?’

Mostly it’s because, like Job at first, we don’t have an intimate knowledge of GOD. I used to think that of the wonderful lady that took (lots of time) to first disciple me, I believed that she could ask (and receive), but that my prayers wouldn’t even reach the ceiling …!

Yes, He is GOD – but He’s revealed Himself to us as our Father (and our friend). What true friend would ever evaluate your relationship before they offered support and kindness?

Like it says in Psalm 71:1 “I run for dear life to GOD, I’ll never live to regret it. Do what you do so well: get me out of this mess and up on my feet.”

Or ... as it says in my heart's transliteration - GOD HELP!!!
