We all want to understand the mechanics of our lives – the way things work. But because this is a kids-bringing-up-kids existence and we all just want a quick fix, we dismiss the teachers who, because of their human frailty, can’t see into our hearts and fix the things that need to be done first - and as such we end up frustrated, hurt and lost…!
A true father/ mother, however, can’t afford the luxury of quitting. Their frustration is tempered by love for their child which propels them to the next level.
Lord Jesus, help me not to judge the teachers I meet, but to instead BE the father/ mother You have created me to be.
Amen.
