There are many references throughout the Bible to being ‘brave,’ or ‘bold,’ or ‘courageous.’
The thing is, Jesus tells us that the fear that tries to grip us CANNOT and IS NOT (EVER), stronger than the love grip of our Lord upon us.
“I give to them the gift of eternal life and they will never be lost and no one has the power to snatch them out of my hands. My Father, who has given them to me as his gift, is the mightiest of all, and no one has the power to snatch them from my Father’s care.” (John 10:28)
